“Medicine rests upon four pillars – philosophy, astronomy, alchemy, and ethics.” ~ Paracelsus
“Consequently, if you believe God made Satan, you must realize that all Satan’s power comes from God and so that Satan is simply God’s child, and that we are God’s children also. There are no children of Satan, really.” ~ Anne Rice, Interview with the Vampire
I’ll leave Linus to explain Christmas, for right now.
“No armies are needed, no weapons are needed, no nations are needed, no religions are needed. All that is needed is a little meditativeness, a little silence, a little love, a little more humanity … just a little more, and existence will become fragrant with something so totally unique and new that you will have to find a new category for it.” ~ Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh
Happy December 12, 2012! This is likely the last time most of you will ever see a 12/12/12 again. I was watching the clock at 12:12:12 p.m. today. Just wanted to be one of the millions of people who had to say at least one thing about it.
I have recently updated the post titled Psychology of the Oreo Cookie. I was most recently asked by irembaliblog which category I fit into. I fit into No. 3: Slow and methodical. Yes, it’s description of my personality does fit me. I have included this in the post as well as a couple of pictures. I’m glad that you enjoyed the post and hope that you new followers will enjoy this blog.
I find it really amazing that the people you haven’t seen or spoken to in years can suddenly come back into your life–especially in a positive way. In the last week, I have started talking to someone who I used strongly dislike again.
Long story short, we had gotten into an argument and stopped being friends. Even if we saw each other, we made a point of not speaking to the other. Now, we are actually talking to each other again. I was sure that this was a burned bridge. Either the bridge was never burned (only broken) or it was able to be repaired.
It is nice to know that people really can and do change.
