The 10 Commandments (New Testament)

There has been some argument among Christians about the Ten Commandments. What we want to know is do they apply to us, today? Many know only of the verses in the Old Testament. Why would this be considered problematic? Some argue that since the Old Testament doesn’t apply today (I disagree with this), then the Ten Commandments don’t apply either. For those who believe this, Jesus restated each commandment. His words are recorded multiple times throughout the New Testament.

1. Thou Shall Have No Other Gods Before Me

“Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.” ~ Matthew 4:10 (KJV)
